Dr. Cosmas Maduka – Chairman
A Philanthropist by nature, Dr. Cosmas Maduka is a corporate investor whose investment spans across Manufacturing, Telecommunication, Oil and Gas, Banking and Trading. He holds a doctoral degree (Honoris Causea) in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.

A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management, he is a member of the Institute of Directors, Nigerian Institute of Corporate Administration, Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce and the Nigerian-Japanese Association.

He was awarded the Zik’s prize for Outstanding Business Leadership in 2000 and the United States Commercial Service International Partner award in 2007. Other awards include Maritime Service Award (1999), Recognition Certificate XXV1 Olympiad USA (1996), Distinguished Industrialist Award (1996) Industrialist of the Year Award by Rotary Club (1995) and Pillar of Education Award from his home State, Anambra amongst other laurels.

He is the President/Chief Executive Officer of Coscharis Group. He is an enigma in business circles and sits on the Board of several Companies including Access Bank Nigeria Plc.

Josiah Samuel – Vice Chairman
He is the Group Managing Director/COO of Coscharis Group since January 2003. He is an accomplished Banker where he cut his teeth in foreign exchange trading and Banking operations having ascended to the position of Assistant General Manager at Broadbank. He was a pioneer of Fidelity Bank. Joined Coscharis Group as Deputy General Manager in 1994 and became the Group General Manager in 1997 by deed of hard work and dedication. Within that period, he was on an assignment to MABIS USA, Westerville, Ohio to manage the subsidiary which he successfully turned around.

In 2001, he left Coscharis Group to set up and manage Sure-Comfort Systems Limited and Sure-Comfort Trades Limited as MD/CEO, a Computer, Communications, Commodity Trading and Business Consulting outfits.

He is on the Board of several other companies and possesses an MBA in Technology Management. He is widely traveled and has attended Local and International courses in Finance and Management. Mr Josiah Samuel possesses extremely diversified capabilities and is knowledgeable and experienced in Acquisitions, establishing new businesses and turnarounds.

He is a member of Chartered Institute of Bankers and Nigerian Institute of Management.

Dr. Emmanuel I. AJAYI D.SC – Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer
Emmanuel Ajayi has been the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Syngenta Nigeria since January 2005 when he successfully executed the Go-To-Market strategy of Syngenta AG of Switzerland, the world’s leading agribusiness organization. Armed with a degree in Agronomy from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, an MBA (Marketing) from Kensington Business School, USA, another MBA in Technology Management and a Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causea) is a strategist per excellence. He has strong analytical skills and capabilities in Business Processes Re-Designs and Re-Engineering programmes.

He is a Fellow of Direct Marketing Institute of Nigeria, Member, Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria as well as Member, Nigeria Institute of Management. He is a member of Nigerian society for Plant Protection where he has served in different capacities in the Executive. He is also a member of Croplife Nigeria where he served as Chairman, Technical committee for several years. He is a member of Nigerian economic Summit Group (NESG).

His experience spans through Research, Product Management, Sales and Marketing. He started his career with the International Institute of tropical Agriculture, Ibadan in 1986 after his National Youth service Corps programme where he distinguished himself as the “Best of Corpers Award” from Plateau State that year. In 1988, he joined the then Ciba Geigy as Agronomist (Technical Services) and climbed on to assume the position of the Country Head.

His managerial and leadership qualities led to his Gold award by Corporate & Media Communications in 2005 followed by Best manager award by Tell Magazine in 2006.

Hajia Fatima Abubakar
She holds B.Sc in Business Administration from University of Abuja and an MBA from the same University. She cut her teeth early in life having been introduced into the world of business by her successful business-oriented father. Presently, she runs her own business in Abuja.

Her core area is in Partnership and Consensus Building which she has used successfully in managing her businesses. She brings to the Board her wealth of experience and contacts within and outside Nigeria available in her business world.

Elder Efiong Esang
Elder Efiong Esang graduated in 1965 from University of Ibadan with B.Sc Degree in Economics and thereafter joined the Public service where he served in various capacities both in Akwa – Ibom and in Cross river states. He capped his career in the Public Service in 2003 by becoming Secretary to Akwa-Ibom State Government; a post he held for four years.

Earlier in his career, he was District officer for two years, Administrative Officer for Seven years, Permanent Secretary for twelve years, Chairman of Local government service Commission for five years, and member of the State Executive council for two years in the capacity of Commissioner and Special Adviser.

He has served as Managing Director and CEO as well as Chairman or Board member in some private organizations. He is a fellow of a few international bodies and is mentioned in a few international Biographical works.

Victor Aherdemla
With a Higher Diploma in Business Management, he is the Managing Director of Coscharis Ghana Limited. He successfully launched Coscharis into the Ghana market where the company currently holds a sizeable share of the market in all sectors where present.
